Funlab

Amplifying the Science of Fun

Details

As the Senior UI Designer at Merkle, I had the unique opportunity to lead Funlab’s website redesign, a project that aimed to bring to life the new brand identity created by FutureBrand. Funlab, one of APAC's largest entertainment providers, needed a site that would resonate with its diverse, energetic audience while showcasing its refreshed brand identity and value system.

The project required a balance between Funlab’s core values—fun, uniqueness, positivity, and playfulness—and a tight timeline. My approach was to create a visually captivating and highly interactive experience that conveyed Funlab’s personality while maintaining a seamless user experience. I incorporated bold transitions, dynamic interactions, and engaging imagery to establish a charismatic brand narrative that invites users to immerse themselves in Funlab’s vibrant culture.

Through this design, the website became more than a functional tool; it serves as an extension of Funlab’s brand, allowing visitors to experience the “science of fun” firsthand. The final result effectively merges storytelling with functionality, establishing a web experience that captures the spirit of Funlab’s world.
